Built as a field layer for the spies moving through Shelter House on the Hill, this jacket is cut from hand-dyed black kantha and constructed with organza inserts across the body and sleeves. The silhouette references militia uniforms, protective field gear and covert armour, reworked through hand textile processes.
The front features sculptural 3D pleated pockets inspired by utility and ammunition pouches, while the wide fold-over collar and zip-front construction give the piece a guarded, tactical shape. Sheer organza insert panels break through the kantha surface, creating contrast between weight, transparency and movement.
Finished with a cropped body, long sleeves, exposed zip closure and layered hand-worked textile panels.
