A hero piece from Shelter House on the Hill, The General’s Jacket is built in sand beige canvas and lined with golden silk satin.
Inspired by generals’ uniforms during the British colonial regime, the jacket translates military formality into a ceremonial field layer. It features full hand embroidery across the front, both sleeves and oversized hood, with heavy panel construction throughout the body. Dori detailing at the bottom adds a traditional fastening language, while two detachable bags attach to the jacket as functional uniform components.
The sleeves feature air vent openings and layered panel detailing, giving the piece a sense of movement, protection and tactical ornamentation. Finished with a front zip closure, oversized hood, detachable bag system, hand embroidery and golden silk satin lining.
